PAR Polytechnic is the first and only private higher education institution in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Since 2012, it has been conducting the undergraduate professional study of “Business Management” with the aim of educating young, modern, and entrepreneurially oriented people and as a response to the needs of future students looking for a different education. Since 2020, PAR has also been conducting a specialist graduate professional study in “Business Management” with three offered spcializations: Financial management, management of small and midsized enterprises and management in sports, as well as a specialist graduate professional study “Management in Gastronomy and Restaurateurs” with a well-distributed ratio of theory and organized professional practice throughout the year.
In addition to educational activities, PAR has rich experience in the preparation and implementation of EU projects and also has a digital innovation hub called DigiParc, which acts as a center for the digital transformation of the industry. This DIH responds to the needs of the Northern Adriatic region in the context of revitalization and increasing the competitiveness of local industries through digital transformation and fulfills the goals of raising awareness of the importance of digital transformation through mentoring, coaching and education.
In the project, PAR will work on educational activities in the field of digital economy and digital business skills, as well as in the field of realization of investment projects for small and midsized entrepreneurs. PAR will also work with entrepreneurs to assess their digital maturity.
