The Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) of the University of Zagreb has been operating for more than 60 years and the primary activity of the Faculty relates to the delivery of educational programs in the fields of information sciences and information technologies, economics, organization, communication, and other related fields. In addition to the educational component, Faculty employees also conduct scientific research in the field of information and communication. Various national and international project activities are carried out within the Faculty, and scientific and project results are applied in the teaching process and result in the transfer of knowledge in the professional and business domain. The Faculty also has a Laboratory for Design of Program Interfaces, Internet Services and Videogames, which conducts research and projects in the field of new technologies and their application in practice.
The role of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in the AI & Gaming EDIH project refers to the implementation of training and boot camps in the field of starting an entrepreneurial venture based on innovative digital technologies. In addition, there will be practical training aimed at developing a prototype of an innovative digital service.
FOI will be available to entrepreneurs to assess digital maturity, as well as to create a strategy for the implementation of new technologies, solutions or business models which will ultimately result in the growth of the company’s operations and the optimization of business processes.
