RK SMŽ is an institution responsible for coordinating and encouraging regional development in the Sisak-Moslavina County through the preparation and implementation of projects and by attracting potential investors. RK SMŽ also works on the preparation of strategic and developmental documents and on the implementation of various development programs. One of its basic activities is the provision of professional assistance in the preparation and implementation of development projects of bodies governed by public law and public institutions from the area of the county founded by the Republic of Croatia or units of local and regional self-governments, which are of interest for the development of the county. RK SMŽ is also involved in joint development projects that are of interest for the development of several counties.
RK SMŽ acts as the project coordinator of the AI & Gaming EDIH project which, among other things, is responsible for ensuring the implementation of all activities in accordance with the given deadlines and for the fulfillment of all project indicators. The coordinator has significant experience in implementing projects, and also has a widespread network of contacts within the public sector, as one of the target groups of the project. Finally, the RK SMŽ is responsible for the project’s promotional and marketing activities, business consultations, as well as the organization of networking events with relevant stakeholders in the fields of artificial intelligence, Blockchain, video game development, and for encouraging innovation and investment.
